Hi, I was looking forward to upgrading my PC from an intel i5 7600K to a newer AMD Ryzen preferably Ryzen 7 3700x due to budget reasons.
I do audio production and was thinking of getting an audio interface (sound card) that runs on Thunderbolt 3. I wanted to know if it's better to get the X570 Steel legend/Extreme4 with the TB3 expansion card or if it's safer to go with the X570 creator motherboard. I'm currently trying to get my hands on one of the UAD Apollo interfaces and they seem to be thunderbolt 3 only. Current Setup Intel Core i5 7600k Asus Rog Strix Z270E Kingston HyperX Fury 2X8 GB DDR4 2400Mhz Nvidia GTX 1070 (Asus ROG Strix OC) Cooler Master V650 along with an SSD and a few hard drives. Please let me know if there's anything wrong with going with either of the mentioned motherboards or anything in upgrading to the new setup. Thanks |
