M.2 SSD not recognized on B550 Pro 4

   Hello, my WD SSD (500GB Blue 2280) isn't being recognized on startup. I am trying to install windows from a boot drive and the computer doesn't recognize the drive as being installed. 

The problem also exists in BIOS. I'm unsure what to do, because as far as I can tell, it should work in terms of compatibility. Any help would be greatly appreciated as my build has stalled.

	what BIOS version are you running? ..someone else here had similar issue that was resolved with a BIOS update What is the specific model number of your drive? Is it on the Storage QVL?
