Recently i bought this pc here

Motherboard: ASROCK B450M Steel legend
Processor: Ryzen 7 3800x
Water Cooler: Cold Blood II
GPU: GTX 1070ti
RAM: 32gb hyperx fury 2666mhz CL16 (8x4)

First of all when i use only 16gb i cant place the ram next to each other otherwise windows will only result in blue screens, so to run my pc with 16 gbRAM, i need to put a ram in the first slot then skip the second slot and place the second ram in the third slot... this is the only way for my pc to work with 16 gb of ram (so thats why i kinda think that i need to get a new mobo)

But then i bought 2 more ram sticks and now i have 4 RAM sticks of 8gb 2666mhz cl 16, and when i use all the 4 slots in the mobo to end up having 32gbRAM, the windows runs just fine but my games keeps crashing, sometimes it takes very long to crash but it still does

i saw some comments of people telling to shut down the XMP or turn it on but i only have 2 options when i go to bios in my mobo, first is to put it in automatic and the second option is this one "xmp 2.0 profile 1" but still my games keeps crashing and i really dont know what to do, my stepdad tells me that this is a software error not a hardware error, but i kinda think that my mobo came with a defect and because of that i need to get a new one, please help me guys

2 sticks is A2/B2 ..it's in your manual..as you've figured out.

Are all ram sticks the same(exact same timings)? Do any 2 of your sticks work just fine together in slots A2/B2? Is your HyperX Fury's on the QVL for 4 sticks?

For better performance you might want to sell your current ram and get 2 x 16GB 3600 CAS 16 stuff

both ram sticks works fine in A2/B2 and yes the 4 ram sticks are the same timing you can check the photo in this link here:

Previously i had a ryzen 5 1600 with a different mobo called A320M-HDV, this mobo only had 2 slots for ram and both ram sticks worked just fine in there

what does QVL means? (sorry im a noob with pc) and yes im planing to get 16x2 as well

QVL = Qualified Vendor List

Basically it is a list of RAM models tested with your board that are known to work
with it.

Your CPU is Matisse (Ryzen 3XXX series) so you want the Memory QVL (Matisse) list
from here:
https://www.asrock.com/mb/amd/b450m%20steel%20legend/#MemoryMS

See if your RAM modules (the specific model) are supported and if they are
supported under DIMM Socket Support as 2/4. If your RAM is not on the list or only
supported as DIMM Socket Support 2 then that could be the issue, incompatibility.

RAM support is a pain with DDR4, it has been around a long time and spans multiple
very different platforms so compatibility is a known issue.
