Last I heard maybe next month 2nd half it will be available.
But you will probably need to preorder to get the first batch as it will be popular. |

I love ASRock motherboards I have built many PC's with there boards they have never let me down and this board has to be one of the best featured minni itx boards i have ever seen! i have built hundreds of HTPC's with there ITX Boards! However at Computex when this board was unveiled Its MSRP was released at the same time which was 160,00 US which puts it in competition with the Biostar x370 mini itx for 120.00. So you dont mind spending 40 dollars more for a few more fetures and a better quality board but how Does 160.00 MSRP get to 269.95 at NCIX that is out right thievery!!! Shame on NCIX and ASRocks marketing team because there are a lot of articles from computex that have quoted ASRock marketing team quoting the MSRP at 160 which is a good and fair price for an itx board not 270 not even the best intel gaming itx board goes for 50 less with more features. Why would you do this to your fans and customers! and if you did not know what NCIX is doing stop them now because who wants to deal with a company with bad business ethics! I love your products Fatality Boards Rock cheating loyal customers doesn't the board would ave to be manufactured from sterling silver to be worth 270.00 this price is an insult to you and your valued costomers and if I see it so do alot of people!@

Kevin, I'm sure that price is simply a "placeholder' that NCIX just placed there.
Call NCIX.ca tomorrow and inquire of the actual price. It would have taken you less time to call NCIX.ca than it did writing what you did above. But to lay this on ASRock isn't fair. You and I both know once a product leaves the manufacturers hands it's open season on what the Seller prices it at. Besides, it isn't like NCIX will be the lone Seller of this board. If they put that much of a premium over MSRP they'll have some inventory on their hands, unsold. |

So what you are telling me is asrock has no control over its product that is horse crap and I did phone NCIX before I wrote down my thoughts on this mater and I do not need to be scolded like a child from you. If you dont believe what I wrote you sir should phone NCIX yourself they said over the Phone was 269.95 plus tax. You sir have no write to ridicule me for something that I am telling others on the forum to be true NCIX link http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=141621 Here is one of the many articles where Asrock anounced the MSRP of 160.00USD at computex here is the link https://www.pcper.com/news/Motherboards/ASRocks-Fatal1ty-X370-Gaming-ITXac-Mini-ITX-Motherboard-Ryzen-Coming-Soon A forum is a venue where people express there questions and concerns in a polite manner and be as truthful as one can be I think that this is a pretty big concern to Asrock customer and you should maybe Investigate something a little bit further before you be rude to someone and not everyone can shell out over 300.00 after taxes for an ITX Board I work hard for a living have 3 kids and I simply can't afford thee hundred and when a marketing team releases to the public 160.00 and the first company to sell the board doubles the price and you don't see the problem with that you obviously have way more money than me and If you are that naive to think that Asrock marketing team does not have control over pricing its own product! enough said and ya I am pissed I really wanted this board and now I can't afford it! and I do feel some how lied to. So if you feel the need to belittle me again and thats gonna make your day have at it Buddy!

I DO see a problem. Yet ASRock is not to blame. ASRock places them in the distribution chain. From there on it's the distributors and resellers that set their respective pricing.

My goodness, how does that one sentence from wardog become scolding you like a child, ridicule, and belittlement? How could anyone know you called NCIX yourself before you said you did? The mistakes wardog may have made was assuming that price was a placeholder, and possibly forgetting the difference between US dollars and Canadian dollars. I'm sorry but I believe you are over reacting here. I understand your frustration about the price, but let's examine the situation. You said the stated price for this board would be $160 US dollars. To quote from the PCPER article in your link in your post above: Fortunately, they will not have long to wait with several websites reporting from Computex that the new Mini ITX motherboard will be available within the month for around $160 MSRP Two things we can see here. First the price would be "... around $160 MSRP". Unfortunately, "around" is not "exactly", so the price could vary from $160. Next we see "MSRP", Manufacture Suggested Retail Price. That speaks for itself, while the Manufacture suggests that price, they do not control what a retailer asks for the price. We can easily find a range of prices for any product, why are they not all the same price? Can a manufacture force a retailer to sell a product for $1 over the retailer's cost? Controls on pricing can work both ways, which is why a retailer would not agree to sell a product at a controlled price. When a retailer buys a product, they own it, just as we do. If we take an MSRP of $160 USD, converted to Canadian currency, we find $160 USD = $209.50 CAD. So we are already over $200 CAD simply from a currency conversion. As of June 28, 2017, the exchange rate is 1 USD = 1.30942 CAD. The price of a product can be influenced by market demand. From the release of Ryzen, there were very, very few if any X370 mITX boards available. Many PC builders were unhappy about this, and were waiting for the smaller form factor boards. That is an increase in the demand for a specific type of product. What do we usually see when a desirable new product is released for the first time? Premium pricing for that product. We saw that when Ryzen boards were first released, and now a few months later, the prices have come down, as competition has increased, and demand has decreased. But many people have paid the "early adopter tax" for products, and that is yet another factor here. Finally, if NCIX knows they are one of, if not the only retailer that has stock of these boards, that are in high demand, they can try to price them to fit the perceived or actual demand. That is actually a risk they take, as a different retailer with stock of this board could price them below NCIX's asking price. But that is simply how free market pricing works. Yes this is frustrating, but we all live with this and there is very little to nothing we can do about it. |
