Since Sep 1 there is a knew BIOS Version 3.40 for the X870E Zaichi lite (and probably for a lot other boards) - does anybody know what exactly was changed? Any experience with improvements or new bugs? Worth to update or better wait? |

The update is apparently designed to address RAM compatibility and issues with
9000 series CPUs. From what I understand it is a refinement on the previous BIOS versions that fixed the CPU burnout issue that improves RAM compatibility and performance/stability. According to ASRock 3.4 is an essential update for all AM5 boards. |

Hello! I have just built a new PC with a B650 Steel Legend WiFi and AMD Ryzen 5 8500G that is failing to POST. When connected to power the LED under the lower M.2 slots lights up, so there's definitely power to the motherboard. It just doesn't react at all when the power button is pressed or the power terminals are jumpered. I have troubleshooted so far by disconnecting all connections from the motherboard except power, reinstalled the CPU, tried the RAM in all four slots, reset the CMOS. Any advice would be quite appreciated!
