The update is apparently designed to address RAM compatibility and issues with
9000 series CPUs. From what I understand it is a refinement on the previous BIOS versions that fixed the CPU burnout issue that improves RAM compatibility and performance/stability. According to ASRock 3.4 is an essential update for all AM5 boards. |

Hello everyone, good day.
I just ordered a new ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 and I'll be using my AMD Athlon 300GE processor, I would just like to ask if I do need to downgrade the BIOS first to P2.30 before I try to setup the Windows 10 ISO? Or is it okay to leave the BIOS as is when I receive the new motherboard, then just plug in the Athlon 300GE processor and proceed with the Windows 10 setup? Thank you guys and I would highly appreciate your response on this matter. |
