personally i cant see any reason to use the new 2000 series bios with a first gen cpu
im still on the fantastic stable and fully functional bios 3.1 |

I experienced this issue when I updated to BIOS 4.6 on my X370 Taichi also, both with games and videos. I've since reverted back to the 3.0 BIOS as 4.6 was by no means stable. |

I was able to fix it without reverting my BIOS back. I moved the DVD player from the middle bank of SATA ports to the very bottom. Once i moved it the issue went away. Strange.
