Huh, not happy
Why did ASRock disable DDR5 OC on high end motherboard with new BIOS 3.10? DDR5 voltage stops on 1.43v....it is to low to get 6200/6400mhz with tight timings. Not to mention 7000-8000+ There was high voltage option in BIOS but it is not there now..... And to make the mather worst, I need 3.10 as it is the only BIOS for 9800X3D Come on ASRock! |

That there has not been a reaction to us is very bad..
Im thinking about modding a bios to get this option back because it holds back features and performance for me. can we get a reaction please asrock? |

To get a response from ASRock you need to open a support ticket with them:
https://tw.asrock.com/events/tsd.asp I don't speak for ASRock but I can say from experience that removed features are typically removed for one of 2 reasons: 1. The feature has been found to cause hardware failure and/or instability 2. The feature was removed at the request of the vendor (AMD/Intel). Intel and AMD can both be very strict on what they allow when it comes to overclocking features. Intel usually does so to prevent users from getting higher end features from lower end chipsets (makes sense if they have a higher license fee for the higher end). AMD usually is more lenient but will generally frown on features that cause instability that could be blamed on them. Not sure if this is much help but it's all I can offer on the subject. |
