So I am upgrading from an AB350M to an AB350 Pro 4 when it arrives. I'm concerned about the windows installation on my main drive. Are there any significant reasons I shouldn't just keep the same windows installation?
After just browsing the spec sheets I see the audio chip is different but I don't think that would be a big deal for me to adjust. Should I worry about the amount of I/O ports and stuff? I'm sure they will work somehow but I guess in general, would conflicts be an issue? Don't drivers usually include different configs for similar motherboards anyway? Wouldn't windows maybe automatically detect the changes? |

Well, I did have to re-install windows. I was having problems with lockups and I couldn't get a stable overclock.
