Hi,
Having these two cables for CPU fan ![]() 1st cable (on the left) coming from the CPU fan itself 2nd cable (on the right) coming from the small PCB at the rear side of the X470 Taichi mainboard (see picture below). ![]() How do I connect them? I see two sockets on the mainboard: CPU_FAN1 and CPU_FAN2/WP. Which socket is for which cable? Thank you. |

I've an x470 Taichi (not ultimate) but I don't have the small PCB. Does it came from ASRock? Does the pcb have only the power as input? where are connected the other cables? |

that comes from the case its called a fan hub
so it makes 1 socket into multiple in your situation its a 1 to 6 hub Depends on how you want to control the fans i'd plug cpu fan directly to CPU_FAN2 and the hub to any other port |
