H110M-HDV Rev 3.0 sound issue

   I lost the sound output from the onboard (green) port all of a sudden and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the sound driver with no avail.

The funny thing is that when i plug the plug into the front headphone jack on my desktop, the sound works just fine.

What could be the issue and how do I fix it?
