I bought a Taichi X570 and was delighted when it immediately boot into windows using a 2700X as I waited for a 3700X to arrive. However I quickly noticed that not all core/tread temps are reported in Core Temp or in Windows Monitor (only 8 of 16 are reported) as they are on the Gigabyte 370 Aorus board in the from the old Rig I am handing down. What is going on? Am I missing a Bios Setting or something and are other having this problems. Both of the CPU's seem to run find on the board otherwise.
Hope someone as an answer. |

The Ryzon 2700X and 3700X only have 8 true cores, not 16. The total of 16 is from "threads" like in Intels Hyperthreading. That is why you only see 8 core temps, if you do find a util that shows all 16 then it is duplicating the core temps to fit the threads.
