Hello,
I had a while back a Kingston sata3 SSD. I gave it to my gf. I could not handle going back to regular HDD. Anyhow, instead of another sata I got a EVO 960 250gb second hand. I reset the bios settings, unplugged all drives, except windows drive(tried off too) it says the SSD driver is not working, error code 10, cannot find object. Uninstall. Tried other slot. Now I. The bios system config image map thing, it shows something in both M.2 slots. It just says M.2 storage controller. I updated the BIOS. And downloaded the EVO firmeware and I will try that. Next up is other settings to look at. I hope the drive is not a lemon. I do not think, it it could be my mobo as I bought second hand. Either way I hope to get it working, I enjoy these types of issues always a learning experience. This is my first asrock, I have to say I love it. I?™ve always had asus(even when buyers hug randomly new or secondhand lol) Anyhow my Case is kinda mangled (barely fit videocar l I had to move its slot, as there was a conflict with FireWire pcie card. Thank you for reading my ramblings :) |

Still no go. Switched slots, tried different things, reset security keys, unplug other drives.
Must be bent cpu pin or the drive is dead. I will try some more |
