Hi, guys

Has anyone installed this new bios AMD AGESA Combo-AM4 V2 1.0.8.0 already?

I'd like to know if anyone is experiencing any technical problems with this new bios version and mobo. I'm still using the 2.10 version and I'd like to know if it is safe to update to this new version.

My specs

GPU: Galax RTX 2070 Super Triple fan
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x
Motherboard: Asrock X570 Steel legend
RAM: G.Skill 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600Mhz
PSU: XFX XTR2 750w
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

Ihave the same mobo x570 steel legends and after installing newest bios 3.0 ( V2 1.0.8.0 ) i cant load XMP, pc just keeps rebooting when ever it feels like it, even on 2666mhz. I went back to 2.80 and no problems i have my ram at 3466mhz , and no reboots so far, it work like before i tried update.

Thanks for the heads up.
I will try the 2.80 version and see how it goes.
By the way, how did you downgrade your BIOS? Is there anything special or different that I have to do when downgrading?

I down graded my bios simply by installing older version over the new one, it worked and cpuz shows it as P2.80.

I've installed this BIOS, the only downside i have is that I've to tone down my RAM overclocking a bit from 3733 to 3666. It always work at 3733 before until P3.00. Aside from that, everything works without problem and quite stable.

A little update i installed bios 3.0 ( again ) Asrock X570 Steel legend and had a crash or 2 or more , i found in a few discusions that turning pcie down to gen 3 solves problems with 5700xt pc rebooting and crashing, turning it down to pcie 3 from 4 i have not had a reboot or crash yet.I have my cpu at 4.2ghz i oc my ram to 3466mhz and now even my gpu is oc to 2025ghz. I you are still rebooting try turning down pcie to gen 3.
