Hello,
I have an issues with the Asrock B450M Pro4 board and SN570 NVME SSD. I have successfully connected it to first slop next to the CPU, and it is recognized in bios, but not booting: "Reboot and Select proper Boot device". Can somebody help, me? I've also updated the bios to the last available version. Thank you |

Any response, fix, please? I would install a bios update if you send me a fixed file.

"Reboot and select proper boot device" just means the drive you are trying to
boot from is blank. If it's detected in BIOS then you need to install an OS on it. You will need to google how to install windows or whatever other operating system you would like to use. Or: If you have another drive in your system that is meant to be booted from then you will need to enter your BIOS and go to the boot options menu and ensure that the old drive is selected as your primary boot drive. The issue is that the SSD I added there is from the laptop. There is already installed its own Windows 10 OS. But it is not possible to boot it with this motherboard.

You can't use an OS installed on another system, it is possible but it's very complicated
to set up. You need to install a fresh OS on the system the drive is in now. |

I see. Nevertheless, I've successfully run the ASD with the previous Windows on the laptop in this PC board. So this motherboard is capable to run the SN570 correctly. For the windows, I had to create a boot partition in the SSD with a Windows installation usb (troubleshoot with cmd) and it works great. Thanks for your help.
