Hello in the latest BIOS update (4.10 2026/2/25) for my board (PHANTOM GAMING X870 Nova WiFi) I am wondering what does this do?

1. Update AGESA to ComboAM5 PI 1.3.0.0a.

Specifically what is AGESA and ComboAM5? What does this update fix?


I also have another question. I don't know why but the Front Panel Type C USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Header (USB32_TC1) which is for my USB C slot on top of my case? isn't working properly. I have it connected in the correct way but it won't load my drive. In Device Manager it shows Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed). In the details under the General tab it shows Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43).

I have my old Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 SSD 1TB inside an enclosure. At first I thought it maybe faulty. But then I tried another [https://us.transcend-info.com/product/portable-ssd/esd310]USB C drive[/URL] and it reports the same issue. So I'm thinking either its not getting supplied enough power or maybe I need a BIOS update?
