Hi!

I want to reinstall Windows 11 25H2 (ISO made by the Windows Media Creation Tool) on a B450 Steel Legend. Unfortunately, Windows Setup does not recognise my M.2 SSD (mounted on a PCIe card). The M.2 is visible in UEFI and the current system boots from it without any problems. Unfortunately, I can only see my SATA and USB drives in Windows Setup. :(

During installation, I tried to load the drivers from the "SATA Floppy Image_CC ver:9.3.0.296" package. But the setup always says something like "Error loading driver".

A rescue medium based on "Macrium Reflect X" has no problems accessing the M.2 SSD. The appropriate drivers are reportedly already included in the standard WinRE.

This is really annoying, as I've been trying to reinstall the system for 5 hours now.

Does anyone know, how to make a clean Win11 reinstall on an M.2 drive?

Thorsten
