Hello, I?™m troubleshooting a new build using the Z890 Pro RS, paired with an i7 Core Ultra 7 265K. For memory, I went with Patriot Viper Venom PC5-48000 2x16 kit.

When powering on and going thru POST, the amber DRAM light stays lit and the systemwill not boot. After 10 seconds, the system shuts down and attempts to reboot.

I?™ve tried installing in both memory channels and one of the 2 DRAM sticks at a time. No luck. Any suggestions? Newegg?™s PC Builder showed this memory as compatible, but after going through the QVL it appears this model is not listed: PVV532G600C36K

Try a single RAM module in slot A2, make sure it is properly seated in the slot as
sometimes new slots can be a very snug fit and then leave the system powered on
for 10 mins. See if it manages to complete RAM training and POST. On occasion RAM
training can take quite some time on first POST. On one of my workstations it took
a full 7mins before it finally POSTed, power cycling over and over before that.

If it still won't POST you can open a support ticket with ASRock and inquire with
them directly here:
