Hello everyone, I want to ask about BIOS update for ASRock B550M-HDV.
Yesterday I bought ASRock B550M-HDV for replacing my old motherboard that has Ryzen 5 3400G in it. The motherboard BIOS version is P3.30 and it works well with my Ryzen 5 3400G. According to the BIOS list, ASRock B550M-HDV latest BIOS is P3.90. Is it safe to update my ASRock B550M-HDV BIOS to the latest if I'm using Ryzen 5 3400G? I'm afraid if my PC won't boot after the update. Thanks everyone. |

You shouldn't have any problem updating but, as I always say, if your system is
working to your satisfaction then why bother updating? Unless there is a specific reason to update I always advise not to. The chances of something going wrong may be small but why take a risk when you don't need to? I would just stick with 3.30 if it's working well. You aren't missing out on anything by not updating. |
