Hi i have a q:

I have ASROCK Z690 Extreme motherboard DDR4.
This motherboard unlike most motherboards i worked with, lacks a cpu features setting called "TME - Total memory encryption".

Can anyone please clarify, what is the state of this setting by default on this motherboard?

Due how this feature works and how it is transparent to the operating system, it is not possible to determine on system level whether this setting is enabled or not.

I found no reference to TME in any of your board's documentation. To me that would
indicate it is not implemented and likely disabled by default. That said, it is
possible that it is enabled by default and hidden in an effort to maximize security
on the system but I think that is unlikely. I found no reference to Intel Hardware
Shield either which is the other name for the feature.

If you want a definitive answer you can open a support ticket and inquire with
ASRock directly:

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
