Hi,
Had my system running with very few problems for the past few years, but sadly after moving house I've found today nothing happens when I press the power button. Should there be any lights on the motherboard when just plugged in, as there is nothing when I plug it in. Here is the list of parts used: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/7Hm4V6 Any help please |

Sorry for the late reply. Make sure your power supply cable are all properly
seated after the move. Check to make sure the power cable from the wall isn't worn out, sometimes they can corrode or the contacts can become loose inside the plastic housing. If you have another power cable to test with try replacing it. Typically there will be a light in the lower right of your board that should come on to indicate there is power coming from the PSU. If that is not lit then your board is not getting power. [edit] I don't see reference to a power indicator LED on your board however. Still, if you connect USB devices to your board you should see the devices power on as soon as the board gets power. Try connecting something like a phone to one of your USB ports, it should begin to charge when power is applied. Edited by Xaltar - 4 hours 21 minutes ago at 8:37pm |
