(poor english, use translator)
I bought a TPM 2.0 on my Z97 Extreme4. I did not find the TPM version in the product documentation. But this did not work, and after looking through several cases, I think I need a special BIOS. Can you provide it?

Model : Z97 Extreme4, BIOS P2.60, Non 3.1

Dear AsrockTSD,

is there also a special BIOS with TPM 2.0 support for the Z97 Extreme9?

Thank you in advance!

Are there any news about this topic? I have the same Mainboard (Extreme 9) and the same problem. It would be great if the asrock-support can do anything for us

Hello albertov1, I doubt you will get anywhere trying to install a TPM 2.0 module
on a Z97 board in 2026. The Z97 platform is officially not supported under windows 11.

I would advise using either Linux or an earlier version of windows on the z97
platform. I am only a community moderator and do not speak for ASRock but I doubt
they will be able to help you as they have license agreements with Microsoft that
they need to follow. Microsoft has gone out of it's way to prevent windows 11
from working on "older hardware".

This post was originally made in 2018, before these rules were made official by
Microsoft. As you can see, if you click the download link above the file has
since been removed as it violates the current license agreement.

You might have some luck with BIOS mod sites but officially, no manufacturer
can help you bypass windows 11 requirements.

Sorry I couldn't be of any assistance.
