Is the issue specific to BIOS 5.69 or has it occurred on older versions too?
Try clearing CMOS then loading BIOS defaults. Once complete enter the OS and shut down the system from there. Once this is done enter the BIOS and set whatever settings you typically use. Make sure you have the latest AMD chipset drivers installed. An issue with your OS could potentially cause these symptoms too but if it was working without issue and the only change is a BIOS update then I would open a support ticket with ASRock and inquire with their Support staff: https://tw.asrock.com/events/tsd.asp |

I attempted to recreate your issue with my own x570 Taichi and a pair of RX 580s
but I wasn't able to reproduce it. I updated to 5.69 and installed all the drivers etc but the system didn't exhibit the issue you describe. It may be because I don't have the same additional hardware, I have a Ryzen 5 3600x in my Taichi at the moment and I don't have an A750 to throw in. I am afraid that is about all I can do. I am just the moderator here so I don't have access to the same kind of resources as ASRock's Tech Support staff. I had hoped that the fact I coincidentally also own an x570 Taichi would allow me to recreate the issue but no dice. Good luck and let me know how it goes with ASRock's Tech Support department. |
