was unable to post a new topic, but i'm curious, i previously had an issue where the WD SN3000 SSD was not detected in a secondary m2 slot with 5655G APU (was ok with 2200G though) but worked with pcie adapter card, then i received a custom bios image of v10.41G does the latest 10.60 bios already include a fix for this, is it safe to update?

Hi Andrei_ndt.ee, if you were sent a custom BIOS then it is unlikely that the
new BIOS will contain the fix. It is possible but I would recommend opening a support ticket with ASRock to be certain before updating to it. http://tw.asrock.com/events/tsd.asp Let me know what they say. |

Did you tell them that you received a custom beta BIOS 10.41G not just 10.41?
It seems to me that they did not understand that you received a custom BIOS. The custom BIOS you received was based on the 10.41 beta, they added the "G" to denote that it was a variation on that version. You will need to carefully explain your situation, the issue you had with the M.2 not detecting in the secondary slot and that you previously received a custom BIOS to fix the issue. The answer you were given is correct but it refers to the Beta available on your product page not the custom BIOS you were sent. If you still have the email you received when you were sent the custom BIOS you can try replying to it and asking for them to make a new custom BIOS for you that contains the new security patch. I hope this makes sense. Good luck
