BMC load issue on E3C226D2I
I've been having an odd issue with my server. After disconnecting the power supply from the mains and after powering up, the motherboard stops booting. The BMC led starts blinking slowly and dimly. In order for the motherboard to start normally, I have to pull out the cmos battery and disconnect the power supply from the mains. Wait for the BIOS to reset. And only after that the motherboard starts up normally. The BMC led starts flashing brightly. I tried with 2 different working power supplies. I tried to change the battery. I tried all the BIOS and BMC firmware. With no result. What else can I try to solve the problem? Maybe there is the BMC LED codes for this motherboard? |

I am afraid this fall outside of may area of expertise, I haven't really played with
any of ASRockRack's server and workstation boards. You can try firing off a support ticket: https://event.asrockrack.com/tsd.asp Some of our forum members may also have some ideas if they see your thread. Sorry I couldn't help. |

Great, you have the confirmation mail. Generally you should get a reply in 7 working
days or less. If you hadn't received the automated confirmation then the ticket would not have been successfully created on their end. Good luck. |
