GOOD DAY EVERYONE!!!
On the ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 motherboard, the network card shows an outgoing speed that's almost 2 times lower than the incoming speed, but the speeds should be equal. The cable is fine. On one PC (configuration in the profile) it's 960 vs 940 Mb/s. I have no idea what to do?! |

I am not sure I understand what you are asking here. Incoming speeds from ISPs are
almost always much higher than outgoing. Internal LAN performance should be closer when it comes to incoming and outgoing (between 2 local PCs on the same network). If you have an issue with a local network then make sure you are using a proper CAT6 ethernet cable not a CAT5. A CAT5e cable should also work fine as it tops out at 1000mb/s, it should be printed on the cable itself. With CAT 5e however you have no headroom and any damage on the cable or an overly long cable run will cause the system to auto negotiate to 100mb/s. Make sure your LAN adapter is set to "Auto negotiate" under it's Duplex settings. Let me know if any of that helps. |

On PC 1, the download speed is 961 Mbps and the upload speed is 952 Mbps. PC 2 is equipped with a high-speed network adapter—the speed reaches 961, but it plateaus there (it won't go any higher).

My network adapter is set to "Auto-negotiation" in the duplex settings.

On PC 1, the download speed is 961 Mbps and the upload speed is 952 Mbps. PC 2 is equipped with a high-speed network adapter; the speed reaches 654 Mbps but stabilizes at that level (it does not go any higher).

Booted from a flash drive with a clean install of Windows 10 — speeds are 943/897 — so the network card is fine; something at the software level is throttling the speed.

Great, so the adapter itself is working as it should. All you can do then is make
sure you don't have any antivirus, firewall etc that is interfering with your speed. Check in (task manager -> Performance -> "open resource monitor") under the network tab and see what applications are hogging bandwidth. Identify the offending applications and remove them if unneeded. Torrent clients, firewalls, antivirus/antimalware apps etc all can eat up bandwidth and result in slower than expected benchmark results. |
