Looks like an interesting option for anyone wanting X870 features without spending too much. The Challenger WiFi seems worth considering for a budget-focused AM5 build.

ASRock has always been good in this segment, higher end mid tier and lower end
high tier ASRock boards tend to offer great value vs the competition.

Thanks for sharing the review! It's good to see more affordable X870 options coming out, especially for people who want the newer AM5 platform without spending too much on a high-end motherboard. I'm curious how the X870 Challenger Wi-Fi compares in terms of VRM temperatures and overall performance under sustained loads. Has anyone here tested it with a Ryzen 9 processor?

It will handle a Ryzen 9 as well if not better than a higher specced B850 board.
Temps will likely be around the same or better too. I don't have one to test so
I can only speculate based on the VRM specs:

CPU Power: 16-phase/Vishay SiC661/80 A
SOC Power: 2-phase/Vishay SiC661/80 A
MISC Power: 1-phase/Vishay SiC661/80 A

The review also lists decent VRM cooling as a pro so that should be a good indicator.
