Why did you change the VCCPLL to 1.3v?
That's way higher than it should be, and this setting is really only for LN2 cooling. I would also dial back your VCCSA to 1.15 as it's been noted that both VCCIO and VCCSA stock voltages are too high on this board and cause issues with stability. Less is often more. Also, I would change your Long and Short power limits to 4095 (max) and your CPU core current limit to 255.50 (max) - this may be exactly why you are having issues since you are severely limiting power settings. 1.45v for 5ghz is way too much and could be causing issues - but if your CPU needs that much voltage to hit 5ghz then you simply lost the lottery and should settle for 4.8-4.9ghz given the almost insignificant performance increases in everyday things like gaming etc. 200mhz is literally a frame or two at best in most modern games as much of the performance is also GPU related, especially if you are gaming at 1440p or above where you become more GPU bound. |

Try using P95 v26.6, it doesn't use AVX, so you can stress test with real conditions (if you don't use encoding, or AVX using apps).

Try this
Settings>Power & Sleep>Additional power settings>Preferred plans.. then set to High performance And your AVX is effect to the CPU frequency so try AVX to Auto (0). |

for starters I'm on water cooling and have had my cpu delided and i use prime95 for stress testing
i was unable to run the cpu at 100% @ 5.0Ghz @ 1.45v as it under clocks back to 3.6Ghz no matter what overclock setting I use i have now changed motherboard and the cpu is running fine overclocked i suspect the problem may have been the avx ratio setting, as it was set at auto and not 0 if i get time i will test it |

How can you have 65°c full with a 1.45v Vcore ?
H2O ? Even if, what's your stress test program ? And do you have a compatible RAM to run at 1.45v ? |

Hello I have an Asrock z390 Extreme4 and I'm having issues overclocking it :(
system is i5 8600k overclocked to 5000mhz gskill 2x8 16gb kit of 3000mhz ram I have overclocked to 5000mhz in bios and when I am in windows cpu-z shows the overclock, but when I stress test with prime95 the cpu speed fluctuates between 4500mhz and 5000mhz For some reason it won't stay at 5000mhz while under 100% load I have tried everything I can think of and nothing seems to fix this issue, anyone know how to fix it ? TIA :) |
