Network adapter malfunction after sleep/restart |

So, after I deleted the adapter and its drivers, and after the restart, I actually did then go back into the device manager and to that window that has the button asking it to search for an update. It did find one and install it.
I'm almost a little hesitant to be too optimistic, but I've let it go in and out of sleep mode several times today and so far it has not acted up once! Things seem to be running smoothly at last! Thank you so much! I had no idea I couldn't trust the drivers that a board manufacturer would specifically supply. Maybe that's common knowledge in tech circles but that just seems so counter intuitive to me. |
