I have a Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX AM4 motherborad with AMD Ryzen 5 2600 cpu running Windows. I have a M.2 drive as the boot drive and an 480 GB SSD as the data drive (D: drive).
It was all running fine until about few weeks later. One day the SSD drive would just disappear. I go to Device Manager and scan does not seem to do anything. However, the SSD drive come back on if I reboot the machine. I tried to change to a different SATA connector and that does not seem to fix the problem. The SSD drive I have is Inland 480 GB drive I got from Amazon. The drive is not that old. I got it in Jan 2109. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BD32RLK/?tag=pcpapi-20 Anyone seen anything like this before? What could be causing this? |
