Hello, the UEFI cannot detect my 970EVO M.2 SSD on M.2_1 slot, I enabled/disabled CSM but no difference. There is no any SATA HDD connected, the screen always black when M.2 connected. I am using X470 Master SLI, any help would be appreciate.
Kind Regards,

Dear flM75fQ,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

For your question, we have some suggestions for you to verify:

1. Please unplug the power cord and refer to user manual page.30 to clear CMOS.
http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Manual/X470%20Master%20SLI.pdf

2. Please only install one stick memory, CPU, graphics card and M.2 SSD to Ultra M2_1 slot to check if system can boot properly and also detect the M.2 SSD.

3. Install the M.2 SSD to M2_2 slot to check if system can work properly; able to post into BIOS and the SSD could be recognized.

In general, the BIOS should work with PCIe SSD with default setting. So there's no need to configure any BIOS settings to make the M.2 SSD work.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD
