Hello,
I have an ASRock x99e-itx/ac motherboard. BIOS 3.80 (latest). Haswell-E Xeon E5-2696 v3 (18core), 64G RAM (2x32), 1tb M.2 SSD GPT scheme with linux (default boot drive), 1tb 2.5 SSD on sata with Windows 10. Here is my problem: Every time I reboot and hit F11 to choose an alternate boot device (usb/cd/Windows/etc), another duplicate M.2 entry appears for my existing drive. This continues each time, until I have 30+ duplicates in my list, and eventually the F11 option causes a scrambled screen where I cannot see my selection. I have to CMOS reset to clear all the entries and the list starts to grow all over again. Is there a memory leak in the BIOS/UEFI firmware? Is anyone else experiencing this? |
