New build of HTPC, using N3700-ITX, Crucial 2x4Gb ram and USB boot device (OpenELEC 6.0)

1) No video over HDMI/no boot, unless CMOS is cleared.  Once cleared, HDMI works (sort of, see below) and system will boot into OpenELEC and run just fine.

2) Can reboot over and over with no problems, but once I power off the N3700-ITX, the CMOS must be cleared or problem (1 above) returns.

3) Display device is JVC RS2 DILA projector, via Marantz AV7702mk2 processor.  Tested direct to JVC, with same results.

4) Tested with keyboard/mouse and without.  Same result

5) When CMOS is cleared, OpenELEC boots and runs perfectly.  HDMI 1080p/24 and HD 7.1 audio (pass thru to AAV7702)

6) When CMOS is cleared and setup menu appears, it looks interlaced - not sharp.  Some of the menu items are cut off at the bottom (don't appear as they are off the screen).

7) Test firmware that came with board and then upgraded to 1.3 via internet update.  Same results.
