Motherboard: ASRock H310M-G/M.2 (Intel PCH)
BIOS: P4.20 (type: UEFI) SSD: Samsung NVME 980 500GB I'm trying to get the NVME 980 EVO to be detected on my pc but it doesn't show up in Windows (there's no unallocated disk) and BIOS (M2_1 slot shows undetected). I did notice the motherboard's supported memory page showing up to 970 evo & pro as supported, just that 980 evo is not in there. Is that the reason why my pc isn't detecting the SSD? |

Hi Cruxader,
Thank you for your post. We tested H310M-G/M.2 with Samsung 980 500g SSD in our lab and the SSD is working fine. Please reinstall your M.2 SSD, Poor contact to the M.2 slot will cause your system cannot detect your SSD. After that, boot into BIOS and check if your system detected your SSD. If your system still cannot detect your SSD, please cross-test with another M.2 SSD. You can check the storage detection under BIOS\Advanced\Storage Configuration If you have other questions, please feel free to contact us. All the best, ASRock TSD |
