After a windows update, the SATA3_A1 and SATA3_A2 connectors seem to have stopped functioning. The drives work in other ports. Cables have been checked. Hard drives connected to those ports do not show up in BIOS. This is a new B450 Pro4 board purchased in June 2021. How do I check if this is a connector issue?

Dear simon_123,
Thank you for the posting.

For this case, we would like to provide a new BIOS for you to verify.
Please download the BIOS L5.12 from below link and use Instant Flash to update the BIOS to test.

This also happen to me.
I just upgrade to Windows 11. Sometimes SATA3_3 and SATA3_4 work , sometimes not.
The mainboard already flashed with bios L5.12
I use the kingston nv1 m.2 nvme storage.

What I should do?

I.m having the same problems, even though I've used the update utility and now have P2.10 Bios.

The only way I can boot is to change the drive to a different socket.

I also have the M.2 issue.

I hope ASRock can get off thier arse and fix these problems.

Otherwise I think I might switch to an MSi or Asus.
