Hello,
I would like to add an M.2-SSD drive to my system with the above motherboard.

I am looking at the support page and the drives I am thinking of installing are not listed. Does that mean they will not work?

My target drives are these (the most desirable on the top)

Crucial P3 Plus 4TB PCIe M.2 2280 SSD
https://www.crucial.com/ssd/p3-plus/CT4000P3PSSD8

Crucial P3 4TB 3.0 NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD
https://www.crucial.com/ssd/p3/CT4000P3SSD8

Crucial P3 Plus 2TB PCIe 4.0 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD
https://www.crucial.com/ssd/p3-plus/CT2000P3PSSD8

Crucial P3 2TB 3.0 NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD
https://www.crucial.com/ssd/p3/CT2000P3SSD8

Thank you for your help.

These QVL's is only what has been tested, and since chips, on the M,.2 constantly change, they are actually quite meaningless.
Any M.2 with the correct protocol, is supposed to work.
There are 3 formats in M,2 controllers.
1. AHCI, which is an outdated protocol, and doesn't work on newer boards
2. SATA, shoukld work, when the slot also supports SATA M.2 drives, and often You will lose 1 or 2 SATA ports, depending how it's conencted.
3. PCI Express (NVME) that should work if the slot supports it, which is usually the case.
Look at the specifications on the website>> Storage.
Kind Regards
