I cannot find direct information on ASRock website about this feature "bios flash back with cpu" also called "bios flash back" or "instant flash back".

Google shows some links to PDFs or other hard to find website parts:

1. "ASRock Flashback Feature User guide"

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjHn8fXnMv-AhXIhP0HHYuwA3EQFnoECBYQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.asrock.com%2Fsupport%2FQA%2FFlashbackSOP.pdf&usg=AOvVaw0PjOPg9UujLzClW0LdXa2z

2.
https://www.asrock.com/support/faq.asp?id=447

I have some questions about this:

Concerning 1 Is this pdf document still relevant and update to date ?

3. All manuals found on ASRock website via ASRock website do not mention how to update the bios, there are only bios files, which would be useless without knowing how to actually update the bios, I find this strange, sloppy and concerning.

Regarding the bios instant flash back option:

What happens if the power fails during the upgrading/flash back ? Will this forever damage the motherboard or can it be re-flashed multiple times even if power fails ?

Especially on first power on I have seen PCs not come on properly... it takes a while for the electricity to flow through all the components, so this is a little concerning...

How really is this flash back feature ? Currently I see to have little choice with the AMD Ryzen 7950x blow up scare...

Seems safer to try this instant bios flash back approach without the cpu inside of it.

I also saw a video for asus:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7QWF8qvz1U

It mentions common mistakes, like not renaming the bios file properly ?!

The ASRock document mentions something similiar it mentions:

"Rename the file to ?œCREATIVE.ROM??

4. I also see other strange screen of bios screens, reddish and such... I assume these are bios screen where the cpu is actually running the bios and the system is powering the screen/lcd ?!

I find all of this information very messy right now..
