asrock h71m-dgs no sound no display

   hello guys i hope you can help me here i just bought used h71m-dgs motherboard for cheap  no display on baord graphics just black screen but if i installed vga card it will work the display works with vga card installed and also no sound on output jak onboard i used usb sound card also works 
so i dont know what is the issue here 
can you help me

	Do you have a CPU that has a built in vid card like intel series some dont have it. as for the sound you may need to install the soundcard drivers..
