Updated from 16.01 to 17.03. Bios update completed successfully. Rebooted and Fan spins up and down with no video.

   Roll back using the USB flash drive and the Bios button worked. Rolled back to 16.01.

Page 27 of the user manual and I am paraphrasing. - Format the USB Fat32 (with MBR is what worked for me). name a file on drive USB flash drive. download the bios you want and rename it "creative.rom".    Put that rom in the folder USB flash drive.


I tried it twice. Upgraded bios to 17.03 successful until reboot. Rolled back without issue to 16.01.

Just reporting on a potential issue.

Same here. But I was not able to rollback anything. The board is a dead brick...

Qusetions:

Has this happend to anyone else?

How do we solve it?

My fans would spin up and down.   disconnected the battery for 30 second with it unplugged. Plugged it in with the USB stick in the slot below the Bios button. Pushed and held the button for 5 seconds- it flashed green and yellow for two minutes and then went green. rebooted and it worked.

I can report that bios version 17.04 works fine (for me).
