Evening all.

I believe I've found a bug with the BIOS with regards to NVME drives.

If I reformat the NVME drives to 4K sectors, the BIOS will fail to list them as bootable drives when I press F11.

When I put back 512B format for these drives, the BIOS successfully finds and lists them after I press F1 on boot.

I have upgraded the BIOS to P3.40 and the issue still persists.

I prefer 4K sectors as they're more efficient and I run virtual machines.

Any ideas or does this bug needs fixing?

These NVME drives will be used as the OS boot drives. They're:

$ fdisk -l /dev/nvme{0,1}n1
Disk /dev/nvme0n1: 238.47 GiB, 256060514304 bytes, 500118192 sectors
Disk model: WDC PC SN520 SDAPNUW-256G-1006
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes

Disk /dev/nvme1n1: 476.94 GiB, 512110190592 bytes, 1000215216 sectors
Disk model: PC SN520 NVMe WDC 512GB
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
