Hi all,

My problem is that i cant boot into windows installer.
Everytime it says loading files then i see the asrock logo and it keeps looping.
I know its a setting or a combination of setting that i need to do.

It has worked with this motherboard before, so there is no argue about it cant be doen or sort like.
Its yust io wanted to try proxmox and i cant get it to work, so i tried to install windwos again but now it wont let me.

I have tried to do this in GPT as MBR both wont allow me to enter setup.

The loop will continue and if i do this in MBR ill get a warning that this is not possible.

i blame the installation media,

are you picking the media to boot, by choosing it in bios (or afaik ~f11 key) ?

never used proxmox, but it looks like a virtualization env, not geared towards desktop use. Maybe you will like more a regular linux desktop - Ubuntu (proxmox is ubundu based) or Arch with the addition of suitable KVM virtualization services like qemu+libvirt+virt_manager. I use this and it's pretty amazing what you can do. I was able to passthrough the Ryzen 7000 iGPU to a windows virtual machine to use with CAD software. I see no reason to use windows bare metal.
