Hi. I just got my new mobo X99 Professional Gaming i7. I will update the BIOS to 1.40 if it's not already.
A friend of mine is sending me 32gb of memory and I wanted to know if I will have any compatibility issues and if the XMP will work without any problem. The memory in not listed in the memory QVL as many more. Memory is Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C12 Memory Kit - Black (CMK32GX4M4A2400C12) I will have 2 of them. Do I need other type? Can anyone help? Thanks I'm also going to use 2 NVME Samsung PM961 256GB in RAID...will I encounter any problem, with compatibility and RAID? Concerning memory compatibility the first place I'd start is by employing the Corsair Memory Finder:
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/memoryfinder Your RAIDed M.2 drives shouldn't present a problem nor issue. |

Here is a picture of the Corsair Site with my memory...
Look at the missing timings and the bar with the link when the mouse is over SELECT. |
