LOL.
You might hear that each series was set to a chipset, so technically, you could be told that it is what Intel has designed for that chipset and they will keep it that way, talking what's in the UEFI. Maybe you should post a motherboard from ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, Evga, which is a 8 series, and one each of the X79 series that these MFG's have put the 14 series into, it could help them want to keep up with other MFG's.
