Some news since I created this topic.

I updated the ASRock X370 to the latest bio at the moment (3.00) and the problem is still the same, still not reaching 3200, manualy or with XMP with my 2x16go GSkill TridentZ CL14 3200 @ 3200 Mhz.

It does not even boot :(

hi, thats really strange. I am running the the TridentZ 2x16 (F4-3200C14D-32GTZ) on the Taichi without problems with BIOS 2.40 & 3.00 . Just load XMP and it runs.
still not getting higher than 2666 on the ram with newer Bios?
Do you OC your CPU at the same time?
are you using the correct ram slots (2 and 4) ?
ram is properly seated?

I would recommend:
1. removing and reinstalling the ram
2. reset cmos, load uefi defaults, save&restart.
3. enter bios ,load xmp profile, leave everything else on "auto", save as OC profile if you want, restart.

this works fine for me, so i think it SHOULD work for everyone with same ram and board. I dont know how likely it is that the CPU is the problem though.

a few times it helped me to slightly increase ram voltage to 1.375v to make the board boot with certain timings.

If it does not work i would test each Module on its own in slot A2

As some other members posted, you might also want to try Ram slot 1 + 3. For some people these slots seem to work better for some reason.
