I'm hoping that soon, the X370 Taichi will support the G.Skill TridentZ 3200mhz ram (F4-3200C16D-16GTZKW), as I'm using that in my Intel build right now, and don't really want to have to go spending for more RAM if the sticks I'm using now are doing good.

Any thoughts on when this may be coming?

your just one number away from proven support

e.g.
the gskill tridentz f4-3200c15d-16gtz is working from day one in mine and a few other rigs running the taichi and same ram kits
just one small number in the ram kit ..............

well in fact its due to the c16 not usually using the samsung b dies where the c15 kits do

from memory the taichi will work with the cl16 kit but i dont think 3200 is stable speed
(i think i read someone has got it working now with the beta bios using the agesa coding version 1006)

I'm running the F4-3200C16D-16GTZ on my X370 Taichi right now at its rated 3200 speed using the 2.36 beta BIOS. To do this I'm simply using the XMP profile.

Previously I could only get this RAM to run at 2400.

I have had a couple of issues with stability at 3200 though when running a couple of games. To run these games I drop the RAM speed to 3000 and the problem disappears. I expect I could get 3200 100% stable with a couple of extra tweaks but I haven't bothered to test this yet.

If you're happy to run beta BIOSes, give it a whirl, otherwise wait until the next full release which hopefully won't be too far away.

You are able to set your memory speed to 3000?

I know you cannot do that directly by selecting that speed. Do you run at 2933, or do you tweak the BCLK to get to 3000?

Sorry, my comment about 3000 was a bit misleading as I actually drop it to run at 3067.

To do this I simply select the XMP profile for 3200 then drop the divider to 1533, leaving all other settings as they are.
