My memory is Corsair CMU16GX4M2C3000C15 (Hynix chips
Asrock TSD is Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3600C18 (maybe is samsung chips

My, MY, CMK16GX4M2B3600C18 Kit are verified using Taiphoon Burner to be comprised of Samsung B-die ICs.

Your CMU16GX4M2C3000C15 Kit I can't determine other than Cursair used "whatever' that met their 3000 spec.

Grab the freeware Taiphoon Burner to check/verifythat CMU Kit of yours.

RyuzenFX, FMA3 bug is corrected in AGESA 1.0.0.4a.  If your BIOS has this or higher then it is not FMA3 bug.  My install files do not have a winre.wim file.  I agree 15063 is W10 1703, I am running this at patch level 413.  Enjoy, John.

EDIT: Found the winre.wim file in C:\Recovery\WindowsRE.

Why fma3 has cpu bug, my problem is not???
I test 7-zip Large pages benchmark on VirtualBox(Windows 10 x64 Recovery Environment Version 1703), no problem (I confirm compressing speed greater than normal without -slp switch).
Asrock has reproduced the issue, but not confirm and follow up it???

Thank AMD, Thank AsRock
I upload BSOD Video to 7-Zip forum, This bug can BSOD OK?

>You should read this post by the 7zip Author and then inquire of him why this is happening.
I use 7-Zip on Users permissions account with Lock Pages in Memory privilege
7-Zip do everything is system allow it do, why is 7-Zip problem?
but, I post to 7-Zip forum now, waiting for answers.

>think what you are calling Recovery Environment, I would call Safe Mode.
Hello MisterJ.
1) Windows Home/standard version dont have secpol.msc, u know? No Open Lock Pages in Memory privilege, No large memory pages.
2) Recovery Environment(winre.wim) is same to everyone, u know?
3) Recovery Environment can use large memory pages.

>So, is it true that you are running the released version of W10 1703?  Please open a command prompt and enter winver and post the results here.
Faulting module name ntdll.dlll, version: 10.0.15063.0, time stamp: 0xb79b6ddb
10.0.15063 is version 1703, u know?

You suspect Asrock TSD too?
AMD forum link have Picture from Asrock TSD reply (cut version)
7-Zip forum link have full-size Picture attachment

>What kind of memory are you running and how much?
Problem reproduced on DDR speed 2133~2667.
My memory is Corsair CMU16GX4M2C3000C15 (Hynix chips
Asrock TSD is Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3600C18 (maybe is samsung chips

Thanks much, RyuzenFX.  I am, obviously, learning about large pages.  I think what you are calling Recovery Environment, I would call Safe Mode.  So, is it true that you are running the released version of W10 1703?  Please open a command prompt and enter winver and post the results here.  What kind of memory are you running and how much?  I have plenty of my own problems to work on but this looks like an interesting problem to work on and a great opportunity to learn something.  I will do some more research and consider trying it on my system.  Please outline the procedure (link?) for running your failing test on all released software.  Thanks and enjoy, John.

Important things say 3 times.

Yes, they are.

But I think you're barking up the wrong tree here.

You should read this post by the 7zip Author and then inquire of him why this is happening. When you do, consider CCX and memory latencies.

Windows 10 RS1 = Version 1607 = anniversary update
Windows 10 RS2 = version 1703 = creater update

>RyuzenFX, have you modified your BIOS?
NO~ stock BIOS (2.20~2.60)!
Windows version 1703, non-insider version
I Tested on Windows 10 Version 1703 Recovery Environment(=Clean system Environment!) also get Decoding error
Not my problem

Reboot to Recovery Environment (Step by step
left-down start > shift+restart > Troubleshoot > Advanced option > Command Prompt > Type in the account password
Command Prompt:
C:
cd C:\Program Files\7-Zip
7zG b -mmt1 -slp

>ehehe. Boy have I seen more than my share of those while testing BIOSes.
>You've been in the BIOS and made changes! Changes that have caused it to become unstable.
Asrock support Reply Screensnot(7-zip 16.04) also get Decoding error, OK?
My system tested on memtest86+, memtest.exe, windows self memtest, MemTest64.exe, prime95 and Youtube 8K video playing, (4K pages) no any error.

I guess the Large pages function is memory address read/write error cause my sound card(memory address range) BSOD.

7-zip Large pages benchmark 17.00/9.38 maybe can get error but 16.04 not
Maybe integrated memory controller(IMC) have Large pages address bug?
Faulting application name: 7zG.exe, version: 17.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x59044791
Faulting module name ntdll.dlll, version: 10.0.15063.0, time stamp: 0xb79b6ddb
Exception code: 0xc0000374 (Heap Corruption)
Fault offset: 0x00000000000f775f

Try test Large pages benchmark again and again, maybe can bypass the error box, after get Decoding error again
PS:I suggestion anyone tested on 7-zip 16.04, bypass the error box.

>>The other Ryzen users in your own thread at AMD that do not have many problems with it
See him windows border~ so wide(is win8)
I tested on Windows 8 Recovery Environment Work fine
This bug only affact Windows 10 1703 w/Ryzen (no test on 1507~1607)
This bug only affact Windows 10 1703 w/Ryzen
This bug only affact Windows 10 1703 w/Ryzen
Important things say 3 times.

7-zip 17.00 Large pages benchmark need to use command switch: -slp, 17.00 benchmark no LP = 4K pages benchmark
17.00 no LP = non Large pages benchmark
17.00 no LP = non Large pages benchmark
17.00 no LP = non Large pages benchmark
Important things say 3 times.

7-Zip 17.00 Large pages benchmark also get Decoding error

So you have decided that the Beta 7 Zip version 17.00 when used with Windows 10 is not the problem?

The other Ryzen users in your own thread at AMD that do not have many problems with it, and also told you about the LP mode option, are also wrong?

Why are you not telling 7 Zip about this problem?

From the 7 Zip History file:

17.00 beta 2017-04-29
-------------------------
- ZIP unpacking code was improved.
- 7-Zip now reserves file space before writing to file (for extraction from archive).
  It can reduce file fragmentation.
- Some bugs were fixed. 7-Zip could crash in some cases.
- Internal changes in code.

RyuzenFX, have you modified your BIOS?  Please tell us what hardware you are using and what BIOS.  What is W10 RS2 - some kind of Windows Beta - maybe for Creators Edition?  Please tell me more about the large page benchmark - link - web page - I know nothing about it.  Thanks and enjoy, John.

You've been in the BIOS and made changes! Changes that have caused it to become unstable.
