Having problems with Windows recognising SSD when attempting to install Windows 10 Pro 1709 UEFI Boot from USB.
System Info: Asrock Gmaing Professional x399 Bios 2.0 Threadripper 1950x Crucial MX300 2tb SSD IOMMU - Disabled SATA Controllers - Enabled SATA Mode - AHCI The single SSD is not recognised during the windows install process and i've tried the 'floppy disk' drivers from the DVD and from the drivers from the support page but the drive is still not being listed. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. |

NRGZ, 'floppy drivers' are for RAID and will not help a single drive. Are you running a RAID? You do not need to disable IOMMU. Please boot into BIOS and hit F9 then F10. Check to see if you can see your drive in the BIOS? Is the drive a M.2 (which one?) or a SATA? Have you had an OS installed on this system? Where did you get the W10 install media and what is it (DVD, USB, etc). Please post your specifications in your signature as I have and include your power supply. Enjoy, John.
