I recently purchased a 128 gb adata su800 ssd for my gaming computer to put a large game on that I want to run fast. So far everything has been working great except for the ssd. Until finding this forum http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=3989&PID=43785 I could find very little information on m.2 ssds let alone for an asrock board. Through a process of about 50 googles I stumbled upon that forum and the problem was exactly the same as mine (not being able to find the m.2 setting in bios to check if ssd was detected). This being said once I located the area in the bios that showed whether or not the slot was occupied it said that it was not. I am a first time pc builder and shortly after posting this I will probably take out the ssd and try to reinstall it but in case that doesn't work I am open to more suggestions. Thanks all and even if you can't help me the previous posts have already helped alot.
**After unplugging my computer, removing the graphics card (for accessibility), and then removing the ssd I checked that it's orientation was correct and then reinstalled it. After booting again the bios and windows both still do not recognize the ssd. |

Thanks, TrojanWarrier. Please post your specifications in your signature as I have. I am real curious what size power supply you have, but need to know all the other parts too. Please remove HW that is not needed to run basic W10 but leave the SSD, boot device and GPU. Keep only one memory stick, open the UEFI/BIOS, hit F9 then F10. Let us know if you can see your SSD. Good luck and enjoy, John.

I've given you my thoughts on your Intenso drive in your Thread. Summary: I don't believe so as your MB's M.2 slot does not support SATA drives in it. |
