AB350 PRO4 - How to get more than 4 GPUs working?

   I have 2 of these boards, one of them is on an older BIOS and I didn't have to do much to get it working with 5 GPUs
However, I have another board that I've tried everything. I've tried switching from gen 1 to gen 2, updating to the latest BIOS (4.60), I've tried 4g decoding, I've tried changing the order in which I plug in the cards but still, can't get more than 4 cards to be recognized by the motherboard.

Anyone else in the same boat or have tips for other things I can try?
