my question is what would be the advantages of running dual channel @2666 over running single channel at 3466. I haven't tried upping voltage or any bios setting other than selecting the xmp2.0 speed settings. it will allow me to run 3466 when i put the ram sticks into single channel mode (A2 B2), but only 2666 will boot up when im in A1 B1 dual channel configuration.
my video card is only 1070 for now so i know any speeds over 2666 doesnt do much for gaming. But i was wondering where I may see advantages with either set up.
